How do I sync my data across devices?
Dropin uses iCloud to sync your data. Make sure you're signed in to iCloud on all your devices and that iCloud sync is enabled in the app's Settings. Your data will automatically sync when connected to the internet.
How does AI categorization work?
Dropin can use AI to automatically categorize your messages. You can configure your preferred AI service in Settings by providing an API endpoint. If no AI service is configured, messages will remain uncategorized until you manually assign categories.
Can I use Dropin offline?
Yes. Dropin stores all data locally on your device, so you can capture and view your notes without an internet connection. Data will sync to iCloud when you're back online.
How do I sync todos with Apple Reminders?
Long-press on any todo item and select "Sync to Reminders" to add it to Apple Reminders. You can enable automatic syncing for all todos in Settings. The app will request permission to access Reminders when you first use this feature.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID, select Subscriptions, find Dropin, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your billing period.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced through iCloud, which is encrypted. We don't have access to your content. If you use an AI service for categorization, only message content is sent to that service for processing.
How do I delete all my data?
To delete all data, go to Settings in the app and select "Delete All Data". This will remove all messages and todos from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, data will also be removed from iCloud. This action cannot be undone.
